These tiny cabins on the edge of the stream are suitable for backpackers and adventurers who don't need a lot of extras! They have a share bath room and kitchen. Just a short stroll across the dunes to the beach. Each cabin sleeps 2 people.

Family Cabin - Sugar Shack
Suitable for a group or a family of 7. One bedroom has a Queen bed and a second bedroom has 5 single bunkbeds. This cabin has a large sunny deck and can annex the river cabins next door to accommodate a larger group. There are very good restaurants within easy driving distance and we have our own café at the stables with a licensed bar and great coffee and breakfasts or lunch.The kitchen is equipped with microwave, stove, electric jug, toaster, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware for seven people. Bed linen and duvets are included. Towels are not supplied. Gas BBQ. This cabin also has a deck overlooking the river, and is close enough to use in combination with the river cabins for large groups. Like all our cabins, it has easy access to our private white sand surf beach.

Beach Cabins - Pohutakawa and Seaview
Set amongst the white sand dunes on the beach these simple comfortable beach cabins are for the visitor who wants to get away from it all for 1 night or as many as you wish. The cabins are self catering and have just a queen bed and all amenities for your comfort. These cabins are for a couple.Each unit contains stove, fridge, small electric jug, toaster, cooking utensils, cutlery, wine glasses and crockery for two people. Includes pillows, duvets, sheets, cover and two towels. Gas BBQ. The cabins also feature decks with a sea view.
